📦 Delivery recommendations (Stem Mastering)

File naming (stems):
Track number - Artistname - Songname - Stem name (e.g., 01 Artist - Title - DRUMS)
Each stem should be clearly labeled (e.g., DRUMS / BASS / VOCALS / MUSIC / FX)

What to send:
Stems (track groups) in WAV/AIFF
Plus a full stereo mix (PRE-MASTER) as a reference (same start point)

Alignment and start:
All stems must start exactly at 0:00 (same start), even if there’s silence at the beginning of a stem
All files must be the same length (so they sum perfectly)

Bit depth:
32-bit (recommended) floating point (alternatively 24-bit TDIF or triangular dithered minimum)

Sample rate:
native — the one you recorded and mixed in (no conversion)

Headroom:
the highest peak on each stem should not exceed -1 dBFS

Plug-ins:
export stems with key tonal processors (sound design / character), but without the final limiter, without clipping, and without a master-chain. Everything you run a stem through becomes part of the sound

Important (sum check):
before sending, check that summing the stems gives you the same mix as your stereo mix (PRE-MASTER)

References:
if you have a limited number of references, please send them as well

Upload: https://blackviewstudio.wetransfer.com — always use this link to upload, so the transfer won’t expire.
Most important: make sure to listen to the files before sending.
I can’t wait to stem master your mixes.
If you have questions before placing the order, feel free to reach out — I’ll be happy to help.

BR,
Damian 《BV》
